History of McMullen County
It was created from portions from Bexar County, Atascosa County as well as Live Oak County in 1858 and then incorporated in 1877.. It was named after John McMullen, founder of the colony of Texas. McMullen County Courthouse McMullen County Courthouse was designed and built by architectural firm W.C. Stephenson, originally from Buffalo, New York.
Demography
